The man who died after a concrete mixer crashed into a house in the Auckland suburb of Remuera has been identified.
Mingwei Yu, 38, died after the vehicle flipped onto the Rangitoto Avenue residence on Monday, police have revealed.
At the time, the NZ Herald reported the home was being renovated and the owner was not there at the time of the accident.

His death has been referred to WorkSafe and the Coroner.
Police said their thoughts are with Yu's family and friends at this difficult time.
