Tomato Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
- 50 ml olive oil
 - 3 medium garlic cloves
 - ½ white onion, roughly chopped
 - 3 cups canned whole peeled tomatoes
 - ½ cup vegetable or chicken stock
 - tsp salt
 
Method
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan until shimmering. Add the garlic and onion and sauté over a medium heat for about seven minutes or until the onion is transparent. Take care not to burn the garlic. Add the tomatoes and ½ cup of stock and simmer for 30 minutes. Add salt to taste.
