Felicity Tomkins is back in Aotearoa to take part in the Opera at the Cathedral event that's coming up in early August.
Described as a "'grand opera gala", the concert showcases some of New Zealand's outstanding young emerging operatic talents.
Over the past year, Tomkins has won two prestigious Australian singing competitions: the Herald Sun Aria in Melbourne, and the Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship.
The soprano talks with RNZ Concert's Andrew Clark about the upcoming concert, and some of her career highlights so far.
