Canterbury company producing plant based classics

A Canterbury company is producing alternative plant proteins in a deal with one of Asia's largest food import companies, Lacto Japan. Leaft foods extracts proteins from lucerne, a crop normally used for sheep and beef feed, and creates plant-based, animal and allergen-free ingredients to be used in food manufacturing.
