Minister for Maori Development Whānau Ora, Conservation, Māori Crown Relations and Associate Minister of Housing Tama Potaka joined Mihi and Julian to talk about his connections to the hosts Tirorangi Marae and the importance of strengthening relationships between Maori and the Crown.
He also responds to a wero laid down by Rahui Papa laid at the previous days powhiri about the funding for Matariki celebrations, the funding that supports this hautapu to be precise. Can he guarantee this coalition won't scrap the funding?
