Widespread sexual harrassment, and 20 instances of rape, have been uncovered in a survey of students at Christchurch Girls' High School.
The principal believes the survey only shows a fraction of the problem - the school has called in the police and more counsellors.
Some of this harrassment, for instance, is described as having happened on public transport or at McDonald's, and involved boys from other schools, or adult men.
One girl recalled being assaulted by her boyfriend and his friends after drinking.
