It's estimated forty percent of people over the age of 40 will experience some kind of dizziness or balance problem at some point in their life.
For some, it will go beyond that.
Vertigo can come on suddenly and it can last for a few minutes or even up to a few months.
It's often due to issues within the vestibule, the part of the inner ear responsible for the body's orientation in space.
What can set it off? And what are some of the treatment options for sufferers?
