Two people are injured, with one seriously injured, after reports of a crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle outside the Countdown in the Lower Hutt suburb of Petone.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 12pm which RNZ understands was the carpark just outside the supermarket.
Wellington Free Ambulance said one person was in a serious condition and another was in a moderate condition.
Both were taken to Hutt Hospital.
