A seventh teenager has been arrested over the fatal stabbing of Kaea Karauria in Napier.
Karauria,15, was found critically injured with stab wounds in Onekawa on Alexander Avenue in the early hours of Sunday, 11 May, and died at the scene.
A 17-year-old female has been charged with intent to injure and is set to appear in Napier District Court on 9 October.
Her arrest takes the total number to seven in relation to Karauria's murder.
"The investigation into the matter continues and further arrests cannot be ruled out," Detective Inspector Martin James said.
"We thank the members of the public who have provided information to help progress the investigation."
