A seven-year-old Hamilton boy who went missing after going to visit his friends has been found safe, his mother says.
Police issued an amber alert for after the boy left his home in Deanwell at 4pm.
Officers checked another friend's home but couldn't find the boy last night.
His mother said a teacher realised he had been staying with a different friend and picked him up early on Thursday to return him to his parents.
