NZ Warriors are safely into the NRL playoffs, even before their kickoff against Gold Coast Titans on Saturday night.
With eight teams qualifying for the post season, the Auckland side currently sit fifth on the competition table, but have progressed off the back of a 58-30 Dolphins defeat to Manly Sea Eagles in Sydney.
The Dolphins (ninth) and Sea Eagles (10th) both have 26 points from 10 wins and 12 losses, and now sit six points behind the Warriors with only two rounds remaining in the regular season. Both can still make the finals, but they can't supplant the Warriors.
The 'Wahs' entered this weekend needing victory over the Titans or defeat for the Dolphins to progress.
They have now reached the postseason in 10 of their 31 seasons, with two Grand final appearance in 2002 and 2011.
Cronulla Sharks have leapfrogged the Warriors for fourth place, with points from their bye this weekend and a superior points differential, but the Warriors can reclaim that spot with a win on the Gold Coast.
RNZ will be bringing you all the latest on the Titans v Warriors match with kickoff at 7.30pm.
